Westinghouse Grill Element Replacement Mill Park
New grill element installation in Mill park …. the installation has been completed.
This was a double oven with separate grill compartment on the bottom now with a new element and an oven in good working order will glow red. What happens if they don’t. The original element was not glowing red and there had been a build up of baking fats attached to the element that kept smoking excessive …. normally this would burn off quickly but in this instance the heating element was not getting hot enough to do that.
Its important to know that heating elements after approximately 5 years become blotchy and don’t glow as red as this …. The problem may be the element itself or the oven gas other issues that need further testing. This will use more energy as it will take longer to heat up .
